All permitted bags, purses and fanny packs are subject to search upon entry and within the Indiana State Fairgrounds. All entrances may utilize “Bag Search Areas” for guests carrying a permitted bag.
- Strongly encourage (but do not require) clear bags.
- Strongly encourage (but do not limit) smaller bag sizes. We recommend guests do not bring bags bigger that 16” x 16” x 8”
All guests entering through gates are subject to search. To ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable visit, the following items are not permitted at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center:
- Aerosol Cans
- Alcoholic Beverages
- Animals (service animals allowed)
- Beach Balls
- Commercial A/V Equipment
- Glass Bottles
- Illegal Substances
- Sticks, Bats, Poles
- Weapons, Firearms, Knives
Designated Smoking Areas
To create a healthier environment for everyone at the Fairgrounds Fun Park, there are designated smoking areas stationed around the Fairgrounds. The areas will be clearly marked with protection from the elements and a receptacle for all discarded smoking materials.
With the exception of Service Animals, pets and animals are not permitted
No person in possession of a deadly weapon shall be permitted onto or be permitted to remain on the Fairgrounds (including knives); any person properly licensed to carry a firearm must secure the firearm in a locked compartment of his/her vehicle and it shall not be visible to a passerby.
